When Busification launches in November it will be the first Enteprise Gamification provider in Asia Pacific

Ahead of our impending public beta launch this November, Busification is announcing the first of its Gamification features to be rolled out to be rolled out over the coming months.

Designed to put Performance Management, Culture Management and Employee Recognition at the forefront of the workplace, Busification’s Goals and Rewards features are integral to Busification’s strategy of making the workplace a more engaging and rewarding environment.

‘From the research we’ve conducted it is apparent that old school management techniques are becoming less relevant to modern day business.

While Annual Performance Reviews may be an important reflections point, they have increasingly less influence on how employees perform every day in their jobs.’

Busification Founder Fergie Miller explains,

‘Employees are more and more being motivated by the ability to express themselves, contribute their ideas and opportunities to achieve and be successful.

We believe managers need to become more like coaches, setting their teams challenges and goals to motivate and inspire them on an ongoing basis in real-time.

I think business has a lot to learn from sport in this respect from its approach to training and performance development.’

Rewards

Rewards can be made visible or invisible and offered to teams and individuals.

Offering Rewards are a great way for organisations to align their interests with those of their employees, an integral aspect of employee engagement that is key to having all the elements of an organisation working towards common goals.

Employees could also used points that they win or earn to buy purchase specific rewards and collect badges as a way of visually displaying their own values and what they have achieved.

For example, if an organisation has a health agenda it can offer its employees a variety of rewards depending on each individual employees personal preferences. This could be gym memberships, yoga classes, personal training, outdoor activities or even cooking classes that are won when certain work is completed or particular targets are achieved.

Goals

Busification’s state-of-the-art Goals module can be used as equally as an onboarding or training tool as well as a way of incentivising and managing performance.

Golas can be integrated with the Busification system or simply work independently. A typical Goal could be to achieve a milestone within a certain time or before a key date, or to develop skills such as networking by collecting a certain number of business cards at an evening event.

Complete with detailed statistics and reporting, Busification’s Goals module enables business to take a planned systematic approach to performance management that is all too often been conducted by business in an ad-hoc and unscientific manner.

Project Management Integration

Busification’s Goals and Rewards modules are fully integrated into Busification’s Project Management features. This means that Goals and Rewards can be set for projects being completed, certain milestones being achieved or even for how individual tasks are achieved.

And like the rest of the Busification application, Social is central to allowing employees to be publicly recognised for their performance by their colleagues through feeds like Facebook’s wall as well as Social Profiles.
